Our Story

Trucha is a proudly owned Mosotho family Business and is a casual dining restaurant, serving fresh food with the main focus on trout oriented meals as well as other meats grills and vegetables. The name Trucha was derived from Spanish word that means trout. The restaurant was formally launched on the 22nd December 2017 after being approved by Ministry of Tourism Board of Directors on the 21st December 2017.

How we started is very funny. From hosting family and friends, we used to offer them trout cooked in variety of ways. They started requesting us to cook and sell them trout from our home. The idea grew to what we call Trucha restaurant today. Idea developed at home hence why at Trucha you feel like you're not sure whether you went out or you came home and confuses you. Because we can do both of those things at the same time, come once and you're hooked.
